TH10 is located cranial to the olecranon, in the depression between the triceps brachii and tensor fasciae antebrachii muscles, approximately one fingerbreadth above the elbow joint.

TH10 is used for treating elbow joint arthropathies, forelimb paralysis, local swellings, and for clearing heat and dampness from the meridian.

Caution is required when needling, as TH10 is close to the radial nerve and cephalic vein. Aseptic technique and precise anatomical knowledge are essential.
