The Large Intestine meridian (LI) belongs to the Metal element. It starts at the index fingertip, runs over the hand and forearm to the elbow crease, ascends the upper arm to the shoulder, travels up the neck to the face and ends beside the nostril. Traditionally used to clear the exterior, regulate Qi flow, and support local tissues of the hand, arm, shoulder and face.
