Location
Yin Qiao 6 – Henggu is located on the inside of the hind limb, about a hand’s width above the hock, near the pubic bone.

KI11 is located medially on the hind limb, on the line between the pubic tubercle and the medial femoral condyle, about 2 cun above the medial epicondyle.
KI11 is used to strengthen kidney function, for hindlimb weakness, lumbago, and disorders of the urogenital tract.
KI11 should be used with caution in pregnant mares or in cases of local inflammation. Aseptic technique is essential.
