TH18 is located caudal and slightly ventral to the base of the ear, in the depression between the mastoid process and the wing of the atlas.
TH18 is used to treat temporomandibular joint dysfunction, neck tension, and headache syndromes. It influences local meridians and can improve blood circulation and energy flow.
