Location

Pe2 is located on the inside of the forelimb, about a hand's width above the elbow joint, in a depression between two muscle bundles.

Pe2 is located on the medial upper arm, in the depression between the biceps brachii and triceps brachii muscles, approximately 2 cun proximal to the elbow crease.

Pe2 is used to treat cardiac and circulatory disorders, restlessness, anxiety, and to promote Qi flow in the pericardium meridian.

Pe2 should not be needled in cases of local inflammation or skin lesions. Use caution in highly anxious horses, as the area may be sensitive.
