Medical information

PC3 is located in the cubital crease, on the medial side, in the depression between the medial epicondyle of the humerus and the tendon of the biceps brachii, usually palpable with the elbow slightly flexed.

PC3 clears heat from the pericardium meridian, calms the Shen (spirit), promotes blood circulation, and is used for elbow pain, paralysis, and emotional disturbances.

Caution when needling PC3: The proximity to the brachial artery and median nerve requires precise technique to avoid injury.
