Location

KI20 is located on both sides of the nasal root, approximately at the level of the inner corner of the eye, slightly lateral to the midline.

Functions

KI20 is used to support the respiratory tract, for nasal discharge, and to strengthen the body's natural defenses.

Medical information

KI20 is located bilaterally at the root of the nose, in a depression at the level of the medial canthus, approximately 0.5 cun lateral to the dorsal midline.

KI20 is used for upper respiratory tract diseases, sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, and for immunomodulation.

Caution is advised during needling, as the region is highly vascularized and close to sensitive structures such as the nasolacrimal duct.
