KI15 is located 0.5 cun lateral to the ventral midline, at the level of the umbilicus (between the 13th and 14th rib), subcutaneously in muscle tissue.
KI15 tonifies kidney Qi, regulates the lower abdomen, and can be used for abdominal pain, infertility, and urinary disorders.
Caution with deep needling to avoid perforation of abdominal organs. Do not use in cases of suspected peritonitis or pregnancy.
