Medical information
Bl50 is located on the lateral line of the upper hind thigh, at the junction of the proximal and middle third between the tuber coxae and the patella.
Bl50 is used for treating muscle tension, local pain, and to support Qi flow along the bladder meridian. It may also be indicated in cases of hindlimb lameness.
When using Bl50, be aware of the proximity to major nerves and vessels. Improper needling may cause local irritation or injury.
