BL30 is located bilaterally, approximately 4-5 cm lateral to the dorsal midline at the level of the third sacral foramen (S3), usually palpable as a small depression.

BL30 is used for treating lumbosacral issues, hindquarter weakness, sciatica, and pelvic disorders. It influences local meridians and can enhance blood circulation.

Caution with deep needling to avoid injury to nerves or vessels near the sacral foramen. Do not use in cases of local infection or trauma.
