Medical information

GB35 is located craniolaterally on the lower leg, approximately 2 cun proximal to GB36, in a depression between the peroneus longus and lateral digital extensor muscles.

GB35 is used to treat lameness, local pain, stagnation in the Gallbladder meridian, and to support the function of the Yang Wei Mai.

Caution is advised when needling, as the point is close to the fibula and neurovascular structures. Use aseptic technique and ensure the horse is calm.
