Yang Linking 11 – Zhengying, GB17

Yang Wei 11 – Zhengying, also known as GB17, is an acupuncture point on the Gallbladder meridian in horses. It is commonly used to support the nervous system and for headaches.

Location

GB17 is located on the horse’s head, roughly along a line between the ear and the eye, slightly above this connecting line.

GB17 is located on the midline of the head, approximately 2 cun cranial to GB16, at the level of the upper border of the ear base.

Caution is required when needling, as the point is close to the cranial vault and important nerves. Avoid deep insertion to prevent injury.
