ST24 is located bilaterally to the linea alba, approximately 2 Cun lateral, at the level of the eighth intercostal space, between ST23 and ST25.

ST24 is used to treat gastrointestinal disorders such as colic, anorexia, and abdominal pain. It regulates Qi in the middle Jiao.

Caution with deep needling, as proximity to the liver and spleen increases the risk of organ injury. Use superficial needling only.
