LU4 is located on the forelimb, about one hand’s width below LU3, on the inside of the upper arm, near the muscle belly.

LU4 is located on the medial aspect of the upper arm, along the line between LU3 and the elbow joint, within the belly of the brachialis muscle.

LU4 is used to treat cough, dyspnea, and local muscle tension; it regulates Lung Qi.

Caution is required when needling, as the point is close to major vessels and nerves; aseptic technique is essential.
