Location
KI2 is located on the hind limb, just below the medial hock, in a small depression between two tendons.

Medical information
KI2 is located distal to the medial malleolus of the tibia, in the depression between the flexor digitorum longus and tibialis cranialis muscles.
KI2 tonifies kidney yin, clears deficiency heat, supports rehydration, and is used in cases of hind limb lameness.
Caution with sensitive or inflamed hocks. Use aseptic technique and ensure the horse is calmly restrained.
