KI13 is located bilaterally on the abdomen, about one hand’s width lateral to the midline, at the level of the last rib arch.

KI13 is located bilaterally at the level of the free end of the 13th rib, approximately 0.5 cun lateral to the ventral midline.

KI13 tonifies kidney Qi, regulates the Chong and Ren meridians, and is used for reproductive disorders as well as lumbar issues.

Caution is advised during deep palpation or needling to avoid injury to abdominal organs or the peritoneum.
