Location

HT9 is located on the inside of the forelimb, right at the coronary band of the hoof, at the medial corner.

Medical information

HT9 is located at the medial coronary band of the forehoof, just distal to the medial hoof cartilage, at the skin-horn junction.

HT9 is used for resuscitation, loss of consciousness, heatstroke, acute cardiac issues, and to calm the mind. It acts on Heart Qi and opens the senses.

HT9 is a Jing-Well point and should be used with caution in severe cardiac issues or shock states. Aseptic technique is mandatory.
