Safety

HT2 should only be treated by trained individuals, as its proximity to important vessels requires special caution.

Medical information

HT2 is located on the medial upper forelimb, distal to the biceps brachii, in the groove between the biceps brachii and triceps brachii, approximately 7-10 cm proximal to the elbow joint.

HT2 is used to clear Heart heat, calm the spirit (Shen), and treat local pain or numbness in the medial forelimb area.

When needling HT2, be aware of the proximity to the cephalic vein and other vessels. Avoid deep or aggressive stimulation to prevent hematoma or vascular injury.
