Location

GB6 is located on the horse's head, slightly above and in front of the ear base, along an imaginary line between the ear and the eye.

Medical information

GB6 is located at the intersection of the upper temporal line and the line connecting the outer canthus to the ear base, approximately 1/2 cun above the ear base.

GB6 is used to treat headaches, dizziness, spasms, and to harmonize the Gallbladder meridian. It may also be indicated for neurological disorders of the head.

Caution during needling, as GB6 is close to the temporalis muscle and superficial blood vessels. Avoid deep insertion to prevent injury.
