Location

GB31 is located on the line between the tuber coxae and the patella, in the area of the biceps femoris muscle, usually at the junction of the middle and distal third.

GB31 is used to treat wind syndromes, paralysis, muscle atrophy, and pain in the hind limbs. It influences the gallbladder meridian and regulates Qi and blood.

Caution with deep stimulation, as the point is close to the sciatic nerve. Exercise restraint in cases of inflammatory processes or local trauma.
