GB19 is located cranial and slightly dorsal to the wing of the atlas, in the depression between the cleidocephalicus and splenius muscles, at the level of the ear base.
GB19 is used for treating neck stiffness, headaches, neurological disorders, and to support stress management.
Caution is advised during needling, as the point is close to important nerves and vessels. Avoid deep needling to prevent injury.
