Yin Linking 7 – Tiantu, CV22

Yin Wei 7 – Tiantu (Ren Mai 22) is an important acupuncture point on the horse’s neck, often used to support breathing.

Tiantu is located in the depression at the base of the neck, just in front of the sternum attachment, on the midline.

Tiantu is traditionally used to support breathing and in cases of cough. It can help relax the throat.

Using this point requires great caution, as it is located near sensitive structures in the neck area.

Tiantu (CV22) is located in the jugular fossa, on the midline, cranial to the manubrium of the sternum.

Tiantu (CV22) is used for treating dyspnea, cough, laryngeal disorders, and for regulating Qi flow in the throat region.

Caution is required when needling, as Tiantu (CV22) is close to the trachea and major vessels. Only use with thorough anatomical knowledge.
