KI9 is located on the medial side of the hind limb, in the depression between the deep digital flexor muscle and the cranial tibial muscle, approximately 5 cun distal to the medial stifle joint.

KI9 is used to treat anxiety, restlessness, reproductive disorders, and to strengthen Yin and kidney energy.

KI9 should be treated with caution, especially in sensitive or stressed horses. Aseptic technique and a calm environment are recommended.
