Juliao (ST3) is located on the line between the nostril and the corner of the eye, approximately at the level of the lower edge of the zygomatic bone.

ST3 is located ventral to the zygomatic arch, on the line connecting the lateral canthus to the nostril, approximately halfway.
Indicated for local swellings, facial paralysis, dental pain, and nasal discharge; acts on local Qi and blood stagnation.
Caution during needling, as the infraorbital nerve and vessels are nearby; blunt needle technique is recommended.
