Jingming (BL1) is located right at the inner corner of the eye, slightly above the tear duct.

BL1 is located at the medial canthus, in the depression between the medial palpebral ligament and the eyeball, near the origin of the lacrimal duct.
Jingming (BL1) is used for treating eye disorders, local pain, lacrimation, and for influencing the Bladder and Small Intestine meridians.
Due to the proximity to the eyeball, precise needling technique and disinfection are essential. Risk of eye injury; should only be performed by experienced therapists.
