Location

Ren7 is located on the midline of the abdomen, about one thumb-width below the navel.

Medical information

Ren7 is located on the ventral midline, approximately 1 cun caudal to Ren8 (umbilicus), between the rectus abdominis muscles, at the level of the linea alba insertion.

Ren7 tonifies Yin, regulates the lower Jiao, supports uterine and bladder function, and is used in cases of Yin deficiency, urogenital disorders, and reproductive dysfunctions.

Caution is advised in pregnant mares and in cases of suspected abdominal pathology; avoid deep stimulation to prevent injury to internal organs.
