Location

Ren2 is located on the midline of the abdomen, just above the pubic bone, in the depression between the pelvis and the abdomen.

Functions

Ren2 is traditionally used to support urinary and reproductive organs and to relieve pain in the pelvic area.

Medical information

Ren2 is located on the ventral midline, approximately one thumb-width (1 cun) above the anterior border of the pubic bone, in the depression between the pubis and the abdominal wall.

Ren2 regulates the lower Jiao, supports bladder and uterine function, promotes urination, and can be used for dysuria, incontinence, and reproductive organ disorders.

When using Ren2, be aware of the proximity to the bladder and major blood vessels. Deep or improper needling may cause complications.
