Ren1 is located precisely on the midline, in the perineum, between the anus and vulva (mare) or anus and scrotum (stallion/gelding), approximately 1-2 cm below the anus.

Ren1 is used to treat urinary and reproductive disorders, promote local circulation, and harmonize the Yin meridians.

Stimulation of Ren1 carries an increased risk of injury and infection due to its location. Strict hygiene and gentle technique are essential.
