Belt 2 – Wushu, GB27

GB27 is located at the intersection of a line from the greater trochanter to the sacrum and a line from the last rib arch, at the level of the first sacral foramen, lateral to the iliac crest.

GB27 is used for treating disorders of the pelvic girdle, hip, and lumbar region, especially in cases of Gallbladder meridian stagnation and to support mobility.

When needling GB27, be aware of the proximity to pelvic organs and major vessels. Adjust needle depth and direction accordingly.
