The Dai 1 point (Daimai, GB26) is located on the Gallbladder meridian and is often used to support the musculature of the flank area.

Dai 1 is located at the level of the 13th rib arch, about one hand's width below the lumbar spine, in the horse's flank.

GB26 is located ventral to the 13th intercostal space, at the intersection of the line from the last rib to the hip and the lumbar musculature.
Dai 1 is used to regulate the Daimai meridian, support in cases of lumbago, flank pain, and to promote energy flow in the Gallbladder meridian.
Caution in pregnant mares and horses with known liver or gallbladder issues. Aseptic technique is mandatory.
