ST32 is located on the line between the tuber coxae and the patella, about 2 cun proximal to the patella, lateral to the rectus femoris muscle.

Indicated for treatment of hindlimb lameness, muscle tension, and to promote local Qi and blood circulation.

Caution is required during needling, as the femoral nerve and major vascular structures are nearby; strict aseptic technique is essential.
