ST26 is located bilaterally to the linea alba, approximately 2 cun lateral to the midline at the level of the umbilicus. Palpate on a relaxed, standing horse.

ST26 is used to treat abdominal pain, colic, flatulence, and to promote gastrointestinal motility. It influences the Qi of the lower abdomen.

Caution with deep palpation to avoid injury to abdominal organs. Do not use in cases of acute, undiagnosed abdominal pain without veterinary assessment.
