Liv10 is located on the inside of the hind limb, about one hand's width above the hock, in a depression between the muscles.

Medical information

Liv10 is located medially on the hind limb, distal to the semitendinosus muscle, about 2 cun proximal to the medial condyle of the tibia, in a marked depression.

Liv10 is used to support the liver functional circle, in cases of Qi stagnation, and to promote local circulation.

Liv10 is close to important vascular and nerve structures; aseptic technique and careful palpation are essential.
