Location
Ren5 is located on the midline of the abdomen, about 2 thumb-widths (cun) below the umbilicus.

Medical information
Ren5 is located on the linea alba, approximately 2 cun caudal to the umbilicus, between the bellies of the rectus abdominis muscle.
Ren5 is used to treat dysuria, edema, uterine disorders, and to regulate Qi in the lower burner.
Caution with deep needling: risk of perforation due to proximity to bladder and intestines. Do not use during pregnancy.
