Ren22 is located on the ventral midline, in the jugular fossa, cranial to the manubrium sterni, directly in front of the laryngeal attachment.
Ren22 is used to treat dyspnea, cough, laryngeal edema, and disorders of the upper respiratory tract.
Caution is required when needling, as Ren22 is close to the trachea and major vessels; avoid deep or oblique insertion.
