Location
Ren 13 is located on the midline of the abdomen, about halfway between the end of the sternum and the navel.

Ren 13 is located on the ventral midline, approximately 5 cun cranial to Ren 12, between the xiphoid and the umbilicus.
Ren 13 regulates the stomach, descends rebellious Qi, and is used in acute and chronic gastrointestinal disorders.
Caution in very thin or debilitated horses due to proximity to sensitive organs. Aseptic technique is essential.
